Elderly Woman Fights Off Intruder, Shows Compassion by Feeding Him

An 87-year-old woman in Maine fought off a teenage intruder who broke into her home, and then showed kindness by feeding him when he claimed to be hungry. Marjorie Perkins defended herself using a chair and gave the intruder food before he fled. Perkins called 911 while the intruder collected his belongings and left. Despite the incident, Perkins still feels safe in her home but expressed concerns about the increasing crime rate and lack of fear among criminals. The teenager was quickly apprehended and charged with multiple offenses.
