US Military Airlifts Humanitarian Aid for Gaza via Egypt

The United States has airlifted over 54,000 pounds of humanitarian aid, including medical supplies, warm clothing, and food, to Gaza. The aid will be distributed by U.N. agencies to help the 1.7 million internally displaced and 2.2 million people in need of assistance.
