Texas Files Lawsuit Against Biden Administration for Destruction of Border Razor Wire

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration, alleging that Border Patrol agents illegally destroyed state property by cutting through concertina wire along the Texas-Mexico border to assist migrants in crossing. The Texas Military Department has spent $11 million on placing 70,000 rolls of concertina wire to deter illegal immigration. The lawsuit claims that agents have cut the wire more than 20 times, disrupting Texas' border deterrence efforts. The lawsuit seeks to declare the wire cutting illegal and award damages to the state. The Department of Homeland Security has not responded to the pending litigation.
