American Veteran's Death in Ukraine: The Skills That Defined Him

Lance Lawrence, a Marine veteran, was killed while fighting against the Russian invasion in eastern Ukraine as part of the volunteer group Chosen Company. Lawrence is one of nearly 20 American veterans who have been killed fighting for Ukraine. He had earned a reputation as a weapons expert and hard-charger during his time in Ukraine.
