China Asserts Unyielding Determination to Unify Taiwan Despite US Military Aid

China criticizes the United States for providing a $345 million military aid package to Taiwan, accusing the US of turning Taiwan into an "ammunition depot." China's Taiwan Affairs Office states that no amount of military aid or weapons will deter its resolve to solve the Taiwan problem and reunify the island with the mainland. Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense reports tracking six Chinese navy ships near the island.
