"International Concerns Rise Over Cluster Munitions Sent to Ukraine"

Spain and the UK have expressed their disapproval of the US decision to include cluster bombs in its arms package to Ukraine. Both countries are signatories to the Convention on Cluster Munitions and believe that such weapons should not be used due to the risk of civilian collateral damage. Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov defended the use of cluster bombs, citing Russia's indiscriminate use of them. The UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, emphasized his country's commitment to the convention and stated that they will continue to support Ukraine with non-cluster bomb weapons.
