Blaze engulfs popular Charlotte restaurant

A 2-alarm blaze broke out at a P.F. Chang's restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina, prompting the response of 40 firefighters who were able to control the fire within 45 minutes. The fire, caused by improperly discarded smoking material, resulted in an estimated $10,000 worth of damage. Fortunately, all employees and customers were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported.
