Broward County's Ongoing Battle with Historic Flooding.

Broward County residents are still dealing with water issues two days after a historic rainstorm caused ankle-deep flooding in homes and cars. First responders are working around the clock to alleviate the water damage, using low tide combined with vacuum trucks and pumps to move the water. Authorities on all levels are working together to help residents affected by the flood, but many older people in the area were unable to get out of their homes. The Florida Division of Emergency Management Director said they will not be able to get into the communities at an effective rate until they can get the water displaced.
