Cherry blossom season brings traffic woes to DC.

Visitors going to see the cherry blossoms around D.C.’s Tidal Basin are causing traffic headaches due to limited parking and people parking on the street. The National Park Service is encouraging visitors to take public transportation whenever possible, including Metrorail and Metrobus. If driving, parking is limited and fills up quickly, with more options available north of the Tidal Basin, along the National Mall, and in area parking garages. The best option is public transportation.
