Des Plaines woman identified in Fox River pontoon crash; suspect charged with reckless homicide

A 48-year-old Des Plaines woman, Magdalena Jablonska, was killed when a speeding pontoon boat struck her boat at a Fox River dock; the coroner says the death cause is pending. Lisle resident Richard Stevenson, 45, was arrested on multiple felonies including reckless homicide after witnesses described him as drinking and driving a three-motor pontoon at speeds over 80 mph before the crash; he remains detained pretrial and has a long criminal history including DUIs and reckless driving.
