Multiple Fires Devastate Eastside Community and South Columbus Convenience Stores

A grocery store that has been serving the Southern Orchards community in Columbus, Ohio for 100 years has been destroyed in an overnight fire. The fire, which is trapped between two roofs, caused heavy damage to the Jequeta #2 grocery store. The Columbus Fire Department worked to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring properties. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and a nearby auto body store remained undamaged.
