Search for Missing Pennsylvania Woman Feared Trapped in Sinkhole
TL;DR
Rescue teams in Marguerite, Pennsylvania, are searching for Elizabeth Pollard, a 64-year-old woman who may have fallen into a sinkhole while looking for her cat. The sinkhole, likely caused by subsidence from an abandoned coal mine, opened unexpectedly, and Pollard's car was found nearby with her granddaughter safe inside. Despite using cameras and excavation equipment, rescuers have yet to locate Pollard, but they continue to search the unstable area.
