Coroner IDs three teen victims in Anaheim 5 Freeway crash; survivor hospitalized

Three teenagers were killed and a fourth occupant was seriously injured when a Ford Edge veered off the southbound 5 Freeway at the Lincoln Avenue off-ramp in Anaheim, struck a guardrail and concrete pillar, overturned and ended in a vegetation-covered embankment. The coroner identified the victims as Levi Jacob Flores, 15; Robert Miguel Gutierrez-Avalos, 16; and Victor Hugo Delgado, 17. The sole survivor remained hospitalized; investigators have not ruled out drugs or alcohol, and none of the occupants were believed to be wearing seat belts.
