Firefighter Mike Altman Dies Following Rogers Park Fire

Chicago firefighter Mike Altman, 32, died from burn injuries suffered while searching a Rogers Park apartment building after a Monday blaze at 1757 W. North Shore Ave. He fell into a burning basement room and sustained burns to about 90% of his body, dying on Tuesday after being treated at Stroger Hospital.
