Greenwood neighbors march on Aurora Avenue, urge safety fixes and National Guard assistance

Neighbors in Seattle's Greenwood area will march along Aurora Avenue North to spotlight gun violence and sex trafficking on the corridor, demanding concrete action from city leaders—including a visible SPD mobile precinct, permanent street closures, expanded enforcement and trafficking prosecutors—and urging Washington Governor to deploy the National Guard, along with sustained housing and survivor-services to help those affected.
