Little Fire triggers evacuations as Alameda County blaze swells to 700 acres near Pleasanton

A wildfire south of Pleasanton, dubbed the Little Fire, has burned about 700 acres with 0% containment, prompting evacuation orders for multiple zones (PLS-079, PLS-080, PLS-081, PLS-082, PLS-103) including the Ruby Hill area and neighborhoods along Vineyard Avenue. An evacuation center opened at the Pleasanton Senior Center. CAL FIRE and local fire departments are fighting the blaze with three air tankers, three helicopters, dozers and hand crews, but wind and limited access to the fire head are hampering suppression.
