Mississippi Nursing Board Drops Investigation Into Nolan Wells’ Mother

The Mississippi Board of Nursing opened a professional misconduct investigation into Christine Wells Wonsley, Nolan Wells’ mother, based on an anonymous complaint, which attorney Ben Crump described as an intimidation tactic. The board later said the case is confidential by law, and, update shows, has closed the probe. Nolan Wells died on Horn Island; an independent autopsy was undetermined and state autopsy results were to be reviewed by a grand jury.
