Mississippi teen’s family demands answers after boating trip disappearance
The family of 18-year-old Nolan Wells, who went missing during a July 4 Horn Island boating trip and was later found dead, is demanding answers as the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says no foul play is suspected. An independent autopsy has been ordered by civil rights lawyer Ben Crump amid conflicting witness statements and concerns about how the case is being investigated, with initial autopsy results not yet released.
