Rochester police disperse overnight crowds after gunfire and bottles

RPD broke up large crowds on the north side overnight after bottles were thrown at officers and gunfire was reported around 2:44 a.m. Friday; hundreds gathered along North Clinton Ave, with about 100 people at Morrill and Remington. No injuries from gunfire, but vehicles and at least one home were damaged. Nearby occupants were questioned and no arrests were made as police continue the investigation, amid a city ban on overnight gatherings of 10+ people.
