Speeding SUV runs red light in West Philadelphia, killing a person and a dog

A Dodge Durango ran a red light at South 48th and Walnut in West Philadelphia, t-boning a Chevy Malibu, which then crashed into four parked cars, with one ending up on the sidewalk. A person and a dog inside the Malibu were killed; the Durango's three occupants had minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation; no arrests have been made, and neighbors are calling for speed cameras on Walnut Street.
