Parade goers in Norfolk, Virginia, who parked their vehicles in the median along Granby Street to reserve their spots for the St. Patrick's Day parade, were mistakenly ticketed by city staff. The city manager apologized for the mistake, admitting that staff were "a bit rusty" at remembering the parade's annual traditions after a long hiatus due to the pandemic and weather. The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, starting from Northside Middle School at the corner of Granby Street and Westmont Avenue.
