Tragedy on the Lehigh River: 12-Year-Old Drowns During School Rafting Trip

A 12-year-old Sag Harbor School District student died of drowning after a raft capsized during a school rafting trip on the Lehigh River in East Penn Township, Carbon County. Five people were on the raft; one student remained missing and rescue efforts continued until the boy was pronounced dead.
