Video captures ICE taser use before Bushwick hospital standoff in Brooklyn

A bystander video obtained by THE CITY shows an ICE agent repeatedly tasing a man seated in a car as another agent tries to wrench him out, before the suspect—identified by DHS as Nigerian national Chidozie Wilson Okeke—was treated at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. The arrest triggered a chaotic vigil outside the hospital with protesters and NYPD presence; ICE says force used was minimal and the man became combative and refused to exit the vehicle. Witnesses described the incident as violent.
