Wildfire Watch: Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia Bracing for Fires and Evacuations
TL;DR
Live updates on ongoing wildfires across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia: multiple blazes prompt evacuations (notably in Brantley County), library closures, and road/rail disruptions; Red Flag Warnings and drought conditions drive fire danger, with large fires in Baker and Clay/Putnam counties and support from the National Guard, a Coast Guard advisory, and donation drives for firefighters. A Clay County call center (877-252-9362) is available for questions.
