CNN's Future in Question: Leadership Shakeups and Diversity Debates.
TL;DR
Liberal podcaster Kara Swisher criticized Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav for firing CNN CEO Chris Licht and urged him to let "professionals" take over and fix the struggling network. Swisher believes Zaslav's attempt to pivot away from far-left programming is misguided and that he needs to "get the f—k out of the way." Swisher also feels Zaslav "worships at the altar" of Warner Bros. Discovery board member John Malone, who has urged CNN to revert to its nonpartisan heyday and "actually have journalists."
