Kaitlan Collins Takes Over CNN's Prime-Time Slot.
TL;DR
CNN has announced that Kaitlan Collins will host a new hour-long show at 9 p.m. Eastern, filling the slot left vacant since the firing of Chris Cuomo. The network's ratings have been at a low ebb, and Collins' appointment is the biggest move by CNN Chairman Chris Licht to put his imprint on the prime-time lineup. CNN has struggled to gain traction without Cuomo, and the network has rotated guest hosts in the evening since December 2021.
