"Search Continues for Missing Hiker in Southern California Storm"
TL;DR
22-year-old Lifei Huang went missing after going hiking alone in the Mount Baldy area of the San Gabriel Mountains during a historic Southern California storm. Search efforts have been impeded by heavy snowfall and the risk of avalanches, with rescuers unable to hike in due to unsafe conditions. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department urges people to refrain from mountain activities during the inclement weather and warns that resources are stretched to their limits.
