Private Campfire Sparks Large Michigan Wildfire

A wildfire in Michigan's Crawford County, estimated at 2,400 acres, is 90% contained as of June 4th. The fire threatened 35 residences, 38 vehicles, and 58 outbuildings, with three outbuildings lost. The fire started from a campfire on private property. Several local roads remain closed, and a temporary flight restriction is in place. Evacuations were initially in place but have since been lifted. Firefighters from multiple agencies are assisting in the suppression efforts.
