A deadly storm on the East Coast has caused devastating floods in the Northeast, resulting in the loss of seven lives and posing several hazards. Damaging winds reaching 90 mph knocked down trees and power lines, while heavy rain on top of melting snowpack flooded communities and eroded roads. Parts of Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire experienced significant flooding, with rivers rising above flood stage.
