TL;DR

A severe wind and rainstorm caused widespread damage across Maine, with flooding concerns leading to the closure of certain areas. Numerous trees fell, blocking roads and damaging cars and structures. High winds caused a tractor trailer's roof to be blown off, wires sparked as they hit tree branches, and downed wires started a fire. Officials have advised the public to stay indoors and off the roads.
