Midwest and South States Ravaged by Tornadoes.

Tornadoes have torn through central US, with more than 40 preliminary tornado reports made in six states. At least three people have died in Arkansas, with dozens hospitalized. The Arkansas National Guard has been activated and a state of emergency declared. In Tennessee, five people are being treated in hospital after a tornado touched down in Covington. The tornadoes have caused extensive damage to homes and businesses, with roads blocked by downed power poles and large trees toppled.
