Midwest and Tri-State areas hit by severe weather.

Severe storms hit several communities in Indiana, causing extensive damage and power outages. Three people were killed in Sullivan County, and trees were flattened at a Southern Indiana state park. The National Weather Service is still determining how many tornadoes hit the state. Emergency management officials are assessing the damage, and some areas are still without power. Martinsville and Whiteland were among the towns hit by the storms.
