Multiple Brush Fires Contained in Southeast Austin, Home Evacuations in Bastrop Wildfire

A wildfire near Bastrop State Park in Texas has prompted the evacuation of homes as a precautionary measure. The fire, known as the Powder Keg Pine Fire, is estimated to be 30 acres in size and is currently 10% contained. Multiple units from the Austin Fire Department and other Travis County ESDs have been sent as mutual aid.
