Ongoing Search for Missing in Deadly Alaskan Landslide

Officials in Wrangell, Alaska, have shifted from an active to a reactive search strategy as they continue to search for an adult and two children who went missing after a deadly landslide hit the region. Despite using various resources, including K9s, drones, boats, and helicopters, no signs of the missing persons have been found. The bodies of three people have been recovered, and the identities will be released soon. Emergency crews will now focus on clearing the roadway and investigating if the missing individuals are buried. Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy has declared a state disaster.
