Recent Tornado Outbreaks in Northeastern US: Updates and Recovery Efforts

The National Weather Service confirmed six tornadoes hit the Delaware Valley over the weekend, with one in Pennsylvania, four in New Jersey, and one in Delaware. The tornado in Pennsylvania was an EF-1 with maximum winds of 105 mph, while the tornado in Delaware was an EF-3 with an estimated maximum wind speed of 140 mph, resulting in one death. The tornadoes in New Jersey caused widespread damage, with the strongest wind damage in the area of Wynwood Drive and Locust Lane in Cinnaminson.
