California is holding Democratic and Republican presidential primaries, with former President Donald Trump and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley competing for the state’s 169 Republican delegates, while President Joe Biden faces challenges from Marianne Williamson and Rep. Dean Phillips in the Democratic primary. The primary is winner-take-all, and in addition to in-person voting, California sends all registered voters a mail-in ballot.
