2024 Polls Reveal Troubling Results for President Biden's Re-Election Chances.

A new Washington Post/ABC News poll shows that US President Joe Biden has an approval rating of just 36%, and trails his 2020 opponent and likely 2024 rematch contender, Donald Trump, by seven percentage points in a hypothetical general election matchup. Biden also trails Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in another hypothetical matchup. The poll also revealed that just 32% of respondents were confident in Biden's mental acuity to perform his job, down from 51% in 2020. Biden responded to concerns about his age by stating that he has "acquired a hell of a lot of wisdom" and is "more experienced than anybody who has ever run for the office."
