Asa Hutchinson Qualifies for GOP Debate, Questions Trump's Eligibility

Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson has announced that he has qualified for the first GOP primary debate, meeting the criteria set by the Republican National Committee (RNC). Hutchinson had previously met the polling threshold but struggled to meet the donor requirement. He has now submitted 42,000 individual donors to the RNC. Despite being a vocal critic of GOP front-runner Donald Trump, Hutchinson has signed the loyalty pledge expressing his commitment to back the eventual Republican nominee. Trump is expected to skip the debate and sit for an interview with Tucker Carlson. Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel hopes that more candidates will qualify for the debate.
