Bell Tops Bush in Missouri Dem Primary Rematch Amid Heavy Outside Spending
TL;DR
Rep. Wesley Bell defeated former Rep. Cori Bush in a Missouri Democratic primary rematch, aided by a heavy outside-spending push—including about $2 million from the pro-Israel United Democracy Project—as Bell’s side outspent Bush 27-to-1. Bell framed the race as Missouri-focused rather than Israel policy, while Bush criticized the influx of outside money and its influence on the race.
