Biden declares end to Covid-19 national emergency.

President Joe Biden has signed a bill to end the national emergency for Covid-19, which will not affect the end of the separate public health emergency scheduled for May 11. The bill cleared the Senate last month in a bipartisan 68-23 vote and passed the House earlier this year with 11 Democrats crossing party lines to vote for the joint resolution. The White House had planned to end both emergencies by May 11.
