Biden Defends Age and Experience in MSNBC Interview.

In his first interview since announcing his re-election bid, President Biden downplayed concerns about his age, stating that he knows more than the vast majority of people and is the most experienced person to have ever run for the presidency. He also promoted Vice President Kamala Harris's past work and defended his decision to send troops to the border with Mexico. Regarding the debt ceiling, he said he was not yet prepared to invoke the 14th Amendment and reiterated that he will not negotiate over it. He also criticized the current Republican Party and its extremism.
