A confidential human source told the FBI during a June 2020 interview that President Joe Biden was allegedly paid $5 million by an executive of the Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, where his son Hunter Biden sat on the board, as part of a criminal bribery scheme. The source detailed multiple meetings and conversations with the Burisma executive over several years, starting in 2015. The FBI-generated FD-1023 form alleging the scheme was obtained by the House Oversight Committee after threats of holding FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress. The White House has denied the allegations, and Hunter Biden is currently under federal investigation for his "tax affairs."
