GOP Senator Ron Johnson claims that President Biden's campaign falsely claimed that The Post's Hunter Biden laptop story involved Russian disinformation, which amounts to far worse election interference than any foreign effort. Johnson alleges that the Biden campaign persuaded 51 former intelligence officials to sign onto a letter discrediting the Post story as Russian propaganda, despite knowing that the laptop was real. Then-acting CIA Director Mike Morell has since admitted that he organized the infamous letter after discussions with members of the Biden campaign, including current Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. The Biden administration has declined to comment on the scandal.
