Bondi thyroid cancer diagnosis; undergoing treatment while remaining in Trump administration

Former Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed she has thyroid cancer and is undergoing treatment, including surgery a few weeks ago, and is recovering well. She left the DOJ after being fired by President Trump in April, with Todd Blanche serving as acting attorney general. Bondi is slated to testify Friday in the House Oversight Committee’s Epstein probe, and Axios reported she will join the administration’s Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
