Chris Sununu rules out 2024 presidential bid.

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu has announced that he will not run for president in 2024, citing his desire to have an "unleashed voice" in telling candidates to get out of the race so that Donald Trump isn't renominated. Sununu, a popular Republican governor, would have been a long shot in the Republican presidential primary due to his moderate views and being ideologically out of step with much of his party's base nationally. Sununu's decision not to pursue the presidency also throws a curveball into next year's gubernatorial contest in New Hampshire.
