"DeSantis Ends Presidential Bid, Endorses Trump Despite Churchill Misquote"
TL;DR
Ron DeSantis suspended his presidential campaign with a misattributed Winston Churchill quote, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." The International Churchill Society debunked the quote, stating that Churchill never said it. DeSantis, trailing behind Nikki Haley and Donald Trump, endorsed Trump and acknowledged that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Trump another chance, citing Trump's superiority over Joe Biden.
