DeSantis makes waves in Iowa as Trump's rally is cancelled.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis visited Iowa to pitch a "positive alternative" to Republican voters while former President Donald Trump's planned event was canceled due to weather. DeSantis received numerous endorsements from Iowan Republicans, including from the state's Senate President Amy Sinclair. DeSantis made clear it's time for Republicans to move on from the former president. Trump's allies are coming at an even more aggressive pace – pro-Trump super PAC Make America Great Again Inc. with a massive $50 million war chest already spending more than $10 million in ad campaigns attacking DeSantis.
