Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's administration has selected state government contractors to transport migrants who have crossed the southern border to Democratic areas around the country as part of a controversial migrant relocation program. The program has been allocated $22 million in funding by a bill passed by Florida Republican legislators and signed into law by DeSantis.
