DeSantis signs multiple anti-trans bills into law in Florida.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed five new laws, including one against gender-affirming care for minors, which he called "the mutilation of minors." He also signed a bill known as the "Don't Say Gay" bill, which prohibits Florida students and teachers from being "forced" to declare pronouns or use pronouns "not based on biological sex." DeSantis also signed a bill prohibiting minors from attending drag shows and two bills protecting public prayer and separate facilities based on "biological" gender. Critics argue that these laws are an attack on LGBTQ+ rights and healthcare.
