DeSantis Urges Disney's Iger to Abandon Lawsuit

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has called on Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger to drop the company's lawsuit against him and other Florida officials. The lawsuit, filed in April, alleges retaliation by DeSantis over Disney's opposition to the state's "Don't Say Gay" law. DeSantis signed legislation earlier this year to end Disney's self-governance over a special taxing district. He argues that all companies should be treated equally and that Florida is a great place to do business. DeSantis has also accused Disney of sexualizing children as part of his campaign against "woke" culture.
